HOME OF THE HOLE

In February 2018, with help from the Sherman Family Foundation, The Rabbit hOle purchased a 165,000 square foot building in North Kansas City. In addition to its affordability, location and overall accessibility, the property is a perfect fit for the project in terms of our initial needs and anticipated growth patterns.

In 2019, we completed Design Development activities with our staff architect Pat Franke, and our architect of record, Gould Evans, and have engaged J.E. Dunn Construction as our general contractor. We have completed and released two of three construction packages, including major core & shell renovations.

The industrial area of North Kansas City is rapidly becoming a natural extension of downtown Kansas City and a cutting-edge destination for new development. As a national destination and the first major cultural institution north of the river, The Rabbit hOle itself will not only benefit from, but help to advance current growth in the area.
